Thank you so much! How delightful for you. I love those little birds. They aren't here yet but will be buzzing around soon. The wrens are setting up their nests now and we see Eagles by the river. Spring has finally arrived!!

How very lovely to have that nest so close and to be able to watch the progress of the nesting and hatching. We have a hummer that comes to the feeder each morning and evening. It comes about the same time we eat! Bluebirds and cardinals also entertain us.

Yesterday we got our first hummer!!!!! I luv them! DH puts out 6 feeders....four in the front on the porch and two on the northend of the house. So far in the last 4-5 yrs.we've only gotten 3 hummers but once in a while we will see a 4th. Sure wish we'd get lots more! They are so funny to watch!!! They are like little dive bombers as they chase each other away from the feeders. Our GKs luv to sit and watch them too!

I have never seen a hummer nest, either, but we do get several hummers coming to the feeders. Wouldn't you just love to go to Costa Rica where they have over 50 different species?
We got birds here about two weeks early this year, so if you don't have your feeder out, put it out! You may be surprised.

That is great for you to let us see the nest and baby. Would you post a photo on occasion, so we can see the babies grow.
My hummers are back and at the feeder, usually only a couple girls and boys.
Have the Orioles at the jam feeder.

Our hummers announce their arrival if we are late putting out the feeders. They float and stare at us and seem to be saying, "we're here; where's the food/"

I love hummingbirds. Nice pics. We have a wren nest on a wreath on our front door. I went to change it out and discovered the nest with five small blue eggs. They haven't hatched yet. Needless to say, the wreath hasn't been changed yet.

How exciting! You need to do a video cam and start making money on YouTube.
