Speaking of mini donkeys.. my hubby's brother and wife have one. My son and 3 y/o grandaughter stopped at their house to see them and my GD went to pet the donkey and he bite her finger. Not bad..but enough that she felt she needed a bandage. So when she saw me later, she showed me her finger and said she got bite by a donkey. Everyone laughed at the look on my face..I had forgot that they got their donkey replaced.. as their first one passed on. I was like...okay..kids can have great imaginations.. ha ha ha Now my GD.. says she will train the donkey to be nice to her. They live 2 hours way from the donkey. ha ha ha

Two Yorkies and a Shih Tzu rule the realm at my house (also a cat and fish in residence). They are our first experience with small dogs (always a cat person prior) and I wouldn't trade them for the all the money in the world ! They love unconditionally and provide hours of comfort and entertainment.

My coffee mug Yorkies are almost 10 pounds. I thought they were a little big to be called teacups.

I have had all sorts of pets growing up. A raccoon, skunk, wolf pup, snakes and even a monkey. (My uncle ran an exotic pet rescue.) Now I keep it simple??? I have 5 dogs! Picasso, (a 6 year old Jack Russell/Pitbull mix) who is my daughter's dog come to live with us, Bailey, a 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd/Lab mix, a rescue pup, Tinkerbelle, our 20 month old Tri-Color Chihuahua (who is trying to help me type right now), Willow Belle, our beautiful "red" Chihuahua who is 11 months old, and our baby, Jingle Belle. She is 8 weeks old and is a "blue" Chihuahua. We had a black calico cat who passed away at the ripe old age of 24 years. We are a dog family now.

Since I was very young we always had dogs but a few years ago we got a cat. After a while I realized that I actually prefer cats because they are more indendent and I just like them more. I like that I can actually leave them for 24 hours as long as they have food, water and a litter box.

Welll...call ME Scrooge, but when I saw this post yesterday, I noted that this is the OP's first post. There is no introduction or anything and there is a link to a pet supply website in the signature so looks like somebody not interested in quilting but in selling, which I thought was against the rules.
