I called the non-emergency police # and they will drive by for me. I don't worry so much for me, but I want to protect my babies at any cost.

I am happy to hear you called the police. They probably could get finger prints off of your door from the knocking.

Keep us posted!

I too am glad you called the police. They would very much prefer to be called to prevent a problem than to have you wait until they have to respond after the problem has occurred.

Let us know that you are OK.

I too would call the police - if something happens elsewhere they will have some information on record. If you are so scared it is an emergency!!!!! Do you live in a populated area or rural - are there houses within sight? Is there someone you can stay with instead of staying there for the night.

Be safe!

Don't ever feel guilty about calling the cops, there there for us, a few years back I seen a car come in my driveway, well it ended up right under my window to my bed-room, talk about being scared, my hubby also works early morning, leaves at 2AM, called the cops took them 45 minutes to get there, mean time didn't see anyone in the car, didn't know where they were, me walking around the house with a BIG knife in my hand son behind me. Well it was a young gal and she was drunk and passed out behind the wheel, thank god she didn't come through my window??

Many years ago a man starting banging on my back door. I was asleep in bed & my husband was working nights. I called the police and it ended up that it was a neighbor's (down the street) brother who was drunk & at the wrong house. She would keep the back light on for him to find his way home. I had the back light on and it confused him. So...call the police. They will come and check things out.

How scary. Keep the doors and windows locked. I'm so glad you called the police.
