I am sorry you grew up feeling that way. Sounds like you provided a better life for your children. That is the best we can do as parents - break the bad cycles we learned for better ones.

Sad. We went to visit my DH sister down in Texas after we were married. Her 2 1/2 yr said some pretty bad stuff. When we had Maxwell he wanted her to be his legal guardian if anything happened to us. I said NO WAY, you heard the mouth on that child and they way they were raising her. He did have to agree to that...
