Joins you from Ontario ... snow gone here, except for in the bush behind my home. Daffs in the lawn are peaking up and saying, rain and help me grow. Nothing much happening in the beds yet .... though I bet the weeds are coming forth and multiplying.

Sadly, the town people (think sheltered!) have crocuses blooming! And oh I saw a lawn covered with those little blue dutch bulbs blooming today.

There is hope here in the frozen North!

PS ... Shelbie ... check your PM

I would do a little bit of both! You shouldn't stay seated for very long at a time - and the casino would give you a little break. LOL

BTW - Back about 6-7 years ago, I had a lantana in the back yard that was covered with Painted Lady butterflies. Couldn't see the flowers for butterfuly wings. Breathtaking! Have seen a few Swallowtails in our back yard in the last week or so. Nice catch on the photos. You might want to use one of them in a quilt. I transfered the photo I took of a Swallowtail (while I up in Flagstaff) to fabric and put it in one of my quilts. (Think that was one of photos of some of my quilts that I posted on this board and the photo I used is my avatar.)

Thanks for sharing - I do believe our few days of spring are here, so we better enjoy fast before we are in the triple digits again!

Somewhere I have a much better photo of this quilt. The colors in this one aren't true. The photos are of pictures of flowers that I took - some from my garden, and most of the roses from the Historic Sahuaro Ranch in Glendale, AZ. The only photo that I didn't take is towards the center of the quilt and is of multi-color florals. That was taken by a Usefilm English friend and is used with permission. The wingspan on that Swallowtail is about 6-7 inches. Most of the prints were done on fabric sheets that I made - but really like the Electric Quilt Co. fabric sheets and the Printed Treasures sheets. The ones you make are less expensive and have a softer hand. Easier to hand quilt too.
