I buy wrapping paper and ribbon for next year...have done this for many years. I also save our ribbons from year to year since I use nice satin and wired ribbons. I sometimes but cards also and paper goods - for 1/2 the price or more I saved for the next year. That way I can afford to wrap things!!

My husband's bday is on Jan 2, my FIL's on the 11th. I bought some of my DH's bday gift while shopping for Christmas because of a good sale, but still need the FIL's. I usually try to pick up one or two really nice decorations, like the Waterford ones. I did go to JoAnne's today to get some fabric I needed to finish a quilt, and picked up some other cuts for another quilt I haven't started yet.

May go to the mall later this week, but not looking for anything special.

We dont do any of that. I spend all my free time on this QB, LOL. Seriously if its something needed and you have the money, sure...but just to go out and spend for the sake of spending is silly. Good one Crafty

NO...I do not do the after-Christmas sales! I am kind of like you...wondering who has the money for that? Personally, I am always glad when the holiday shopping is over so that we will quit bleeding money. Personally, I am ready to start thinking about spring....tired of winter clothes/coats/boots, etc. already.

Well, I did go shopping today for the 50% off all Christmas chocolate at Rite-Aid, does that count?

I spent very little this year and I didn't go to any after day sales at all. I'm about to buy an investment house, closing in a couple of weeks, so I am making sure I'm not low on cash. I am not totally happy with all the money down it's going to take so building my savings back up is important to me.

I don't do after Christmas shopping. I don't like the crowds, and my money is already spent on gifts.
