I have never gone and doubt if I ever will. I do not like a pushing, shoving, crazy crowd that is after the best buy. I am a thrifty shopper but I can't handle crowds. For those who do go and do enjoy it, God luv em!

We actually had a posting on our Craig's List site of someone who would be waiting in line for BF specials and would SHOP FOR OTHERS!! But that pales in comparison to some other headings I have seen on there so I guess it takes all kinds...

I work in retail and always have to work that day. I would love to go to one store. That would be Joanns. Can't because by the time I get off work I'm too tired to go. Besides the nearest store is 1 1/2 hours away. Bummer.

never have, never will. I refuse to give in to manipulation by the retail-marketing-industrial complex that says the best way to show love for your loved ones is to buy them something.

I'm not too far from the Grove City Outlet Mall. They open at midnight and traffic is lined up for miles and miles from about 4pm on. A co-worker sat in traffic on the expressway for 6-yes SIX-hours. (I'd have to pee!!) I'd rather take a bullet than do that!

Ha. Thanks Jan for the chuckle. I'd have to be with you on that one. I have to drive an hour to the stores so waiting on the freeway even longer would be dangerous.
I'm staying home hopefully in the sewing room.

I just saw an article on MSN that said a couple is already camping outside of Best Buy. Evidently they have been beat out by the same guy the last 6 years so they wanted to make sure they would be first... they don't even know what they are going to buy. Talking about impulse shopping!

Absolutely not. I would rather do almost anything. In fact, since I retired, shopping 'til I drop, doesn't take very long.
