Wow great job everyone!! We are going to take a break in November and December since the holidays tend to be very busy, but check for our next date in January. Put the date January 20 on your calendars!! I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

Jan. 20th is marked on my calendar. That will be a great way to start the new year with gusto! Thanks for your putting this together. I absolutely love it, and it gets me so motivated. I finished stuff today that I hadn't quite got done yesterday.

It has been fun!! So glad we have kept it up so long!!
Someone just remind me when we get closer to the Jan date, I can be forgetful sometimes and January is a busy month for me.

Cheers!

Working on Bears in the Woods quilt. Finished all the log cabin blocks, but have to square them up tonight yet. This website has really inspired me to get back in the groove. I was in a slump until I started reading all your wonderful posts. Thanks for the nudge.

I hadn't planned on anything but I did work on my latest 9-patch. I have 93 nine patch squares done & will be putting them together with sashing. There will be three quilts 40 x 54 when finished. Donation quilts.

I hope to get 3 more blocks done on my "3rd weekend in October" quilt so that I will be able to finish it next weekend! Most importantly I need to pick out what I want for a border fabric so I can order it. I am pretty new and don't have a stash so whatever I pick out I will have to buy.

I just now got around to reading so obviously didn't participate. However, Sunday after church and brunch with friends I planned to sew ... really I did ... but I needed to tidy up first. I've been working on craft fair items and couldn't find anything! I started by putting away all the many, many baskets, supplies, rulers, ott light, iron, ironing surface, power cords, rotary cutters, templates, pins, books, fabric, etc. that I've been taking back and forth to church for the last several months for a class I was teaching at church. I think it multiplied and grew because it was difficult to find room for everything!
Then I decided to start by putting away all beads, findings, etc. Well ... 4 HOURS later, I had re-organized and put away all my beading supplies and you can't tell I did a thing in the room! After all, beads don't take up that much room.
Oh well, I hope to work some more on my room tonight and maybe get at least some cutting done during the debate.

Better late than never... Finally got to the quilting I wanted to do on VQDay. I played with squigglies and curlicue vines on this quilt. This is the first time I've ever used colored thread on white, and I LOVE it! It looks like embroidery, to me. Fun.
