Curious. How many of you have your own long arm machines?

I have the Tin Lizzie 18DLS which my DH bought for me last April and I love her. After I went through all the learning curves with her, we became great friends. I have quilted a couple of quilts for a dear friend, but, I have no intention of turning it into a business. And for some reason, I no longer have the need to justify having one for personal use, I just enjoy her.

I have a Tin Lizzie and have finally gotten the bugs out of her. It took 2 years. With so many of us having LA's I wonder why there isn't a forum dedicated to our part in quilting. Or is there one and in this new version of the site I have not found it?

I also have the Viking 18/8, on a Grace frame. I am getting pretty good at meander, having had mine less than a year. Will never be good enough to do it professionally. But it is wonderful for all my charity quilts.

How about pot luck. You're entitled to do your own thing at 82. Besides, the quilts last longer than the food.
