Your toddler, the only quilt police person that matters, loves it! The quilt is a total success, no mistakes whatsoever, not one bit of any kind of 'not quite right'...your toddler loves it!
There's really no more to be said on the subject because your toddler loves it just the way it is! She is the right 'beholder' for that quilt. And she has good taste, too!

Giving it away to charity is always an option and then it becomes a treasure for someone. Think about it keeping a little child warm or the only cover for an abused Mom and her children. What a great purpose for something that has caused you so much frustration. You will get better. You can always send it to me.
Oops I just read about your toddler. Perhaps it's already keeping a little one warm.

Please step back and look at this quilt. This quilt is very pretty. I know you have had many problems, but we do not see your mistakes. If this makes you fill good that is all that really counts.Think ,will this still keep you warm or would you lose sleep laying under this? When you wash this maybe the thread will not stand out as much to you.But put this on your bed and see if you can move on.I really do like it and maybe in time you will also.

It is a very pretty quilt. Put it away for a few days and look at it again. You'll be surprised how much more you like it. Sometimes the redo's and unsews just get us in a mood. It really is a nice quilt

We are our own worst critics. Be assured there are many who would love the quilt as it is.
Many things we as quilters find as imperfections are really 'Aritistic license' and should be
acknowledged as such to ourselves. I find that many times the spirit moves me to make
mistakes to keep me humble. Silly of me I know.
Really it is a Beautiful Quilt. Thank you for sharing.

For what it is worth I like it. It has your personal touches and that makes it special. I do hear what you are saying though, I am my own worst critic. But listen to what friends and family have to say.

What if you did the same kind of quilting in the other direction? It's not so bad, but I know what it's like to not like what you have. Just donate it and chalk it up to experience. Susan G
