Do YOU: Finish THIS one ... before starting THAT one????

I do one at a time until it is finished. I had one UFO this winter and hated the feeling! So, start and finish...that is my motto. Guess I am rather unique....but that's okay. I admire folks who can keep several quilts going at once.

Glad to hear what everyone does on this subject!!!
And I can see myself doing a multi project here and there, but sooo hope it doesn't go the way the knitting did (do I know myself or what!!!) lol
A few weeks ago I learned paper piecing and am just itching to try it!!! But I'll probably wait until I get this quick & easy rag quilt done ~ and then tackle a few blocks on that.
Thanks for all your thoughts!!

A UFO has never made me feel guilty. I have gotten mad enough at some projects the whole mess went in the trash. I felt so much better seeing it leave the house via the garbage truck. Out of my life for good! LOL.

Yes, I do go back and finish, but I do have a lot of UFOs. My attempts to keep going though have been hampered by a remodeling project that has stalled. It's really hard to sew when you've gone from a sewing ROOM to a sewing CORNER in the bedroom.
I generally work on 2-3 quilts at a time. If I get stuck or frustrated, I can move on to the next until I feel ready to again tackle the holdup. Sometimes it is just a matter of needing some fabric and I'm trying to limit my times in the quilt shop so I don't buy stuff.
I can only quilt a quilt for about an hour a day. Yes, I have a few that need to be done, but no place to pin them at this time.

I'm a one quilt at a time kinda girl. Usually they are gifts for someone so I feel that I need to focus on that one quilt. I do like to have a non-sewing machine project going at the same time. Right now I'm learning hardanger embroidery.

I also have many projects in stages of incompleteness. I promise myself to finish one project and then alow myself to do a new one to the last stitch. Then I can finish another UFO. I have been doing this for some time now and I find myself working more on the UFOs rather than starting new quilts. Feels real good to complete a project.
