Quilter's Home Magazine.
I like it because it has stuff to read about not just a ton of patterns. There are 3 patterns each issue but I really enjoy the articles about the quilters, designers, etc.... it's a "fun" magazine IMO.

Did they always charge for shipping? I don't remember that. The issues that feature different patterns, and only PART of the pattern is featured, and you will have to buy 3 or 4 issues to get the entire patter - THAT is what I stay away from!.

I used to go insane for magazines when I first began quilting seriously and at one time subscribed to as many as seven at one time. But I have let all of them go except for only two that are near and dear to my heart: "Quilting Arts" and "American Quilter."

I like McCalls, and Fons and Porter...McCalls, was the first one I ordered, and they have lots of nice patterns, and templates included. I get a couple others, but they are not as good as far as patterns.

I have made more quilts out of BHG's American Patchwork and Quilting than any of the magazines I subscribe to, but I enjoy Quilter's Newsletter for keeping me up on "the cutting edge." I have let my subscriptions to The Quilt Life expire because it was dull and Quilters Home expire because I hated the writing style.
