We will travel through Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Penn., upper state New York, Vermont, and of course, Maine. Doesn't that sound fun? If you had rather pm me, that's ok, too. Thanks, friends.
If you can get to Vermont, you have to go through New Hampshire to get to Maine. The Keepsake Quilting store is in Center Harbor NH, in the central part of the state. It's a must-see!!!! (however.....it's so huge and can be overwhelming that it's better to walk in with a plan in mind and NOT do what I did, plan to buy whatever looks good. I ended up with some cute fabrics and patterns but nothing that really went together....)

Starting in PA, we went through New England several years ago. Here are the shops we stopped at - each and every one well worth a stop. Close to Home Quilt Shop in Glastonbury CT. There's a great Italian restaurant next door. Knight's Quilt Shop in Cape Neddick, Maine. Heartworks Quilt Shop in Fly Creek, NY, just outside Cooperstown (Guess where my husband wanted to go?) Cotton Weeds Quilt Shop in Freeport, Maine (Also a must-see - LL Bean main store). Also mentioned is Keepsake Quilting. Gotta see it! A bit farther south is Material Girls in La Plata, MD. And we live very close to Lancaster, and there are lots of shops there. Old Country Store is my favorite. Have a good trip!

Knight's Quilt Shop in Southern Maine, can't think of the name of the town right now, but it is just north of York on Route 1. Great shop, closed Tuesdays. They have a website.

Strongly recommend you take your credit card and a Garmin Navigation System. That will help you find the Quilt Shops!
If you can, visit Intercourse, PA (about 30 miles from Lancaster) there are 3 quilt shops withing walking distance of each other that are all GREAT!
