I am fast approaching the 200th quilt - most are a generous Queen. I do all my own work on a Husky Sapphire 830.

close to 20 baby quilts and at lease a dozen ranging from lap to king. I have 5 UFO's slowly moving to the finish line. I have a stash that will make that many more and I still keep buying.

I've been quilting about 10 years. I have finished about 15 or so and have several tops to be quilted. I have a LA, so I quilt my own.

I started quilting in 1992 and have made 50 quilts. Most are lap or queen size. Some are wall hangings, not very many though. A few kings and queens. I send mine to the LAer. But I didn't get serious until about 5 years ago.

I made probably 10 for my own kids when they were little, plus for babies I knew-- that was well before I knew what I was doing! Quilting has become an obsession only recently-- the last 2-3 years-- and in that period I have made about 15 or so. My early quilts were mostly hand quilted, but currently I FMQ them. I have a new Juki 2010Q so the quality of my machine quilting has just gotten better.

I've probably made 200 quilts in the last 25 years, mostly charity quilts for the wounded soldiers and needy kids. Some of the tops have been quilted by a long arm quilter; we have several member that do this for the 2 groups that I'm part of. Sometimes I do my own quilting.

I counted them for a while, then it took too much time to count. The last count was 287 since I retired in 2007 and have spent a great deal of time since then quilting. I had done many more before I retired. I was 64 on Tuesday and made my first quilt with my grandmother when I was 8. I have probably made about 500 if you count all the baby quilts and little throws I made as a child and young mother. I should add that I have burned out 3 machines over the years. I have 3 machines that I now use depending upon what type quilt I am working.
