Default Kingsmen Quilting supplies inc

Does anyone know of any problems occurring with Kingsmen Quilting Supplies? I placed a Signature thread order in Early August and Cannot contact them to see why the delay in shipping. When I check tracking it says my order is on hold yet they charged my credit card the very day I placed the order. I know these times are different but this is my
Third order during the pandemic and the other two were fine. Besides these difficult times do not excuse being so very evasive.

I have been a customer for 10 years and usually receive my orders in 4 or 5 day. They have always have been difficult to contact should you have an order problem but this time they just ignor my emails of which there have been 8.

I know it is hard when you can't get hold of a person. My home phone went down yesterday and it took over 3 hours to reach a real person via computer or cell phone. I kept getting into those phone tree things and robot "helpers". I ordered an embroidery case for my machine in JUNE and still haven't gotten it although they charged my credit card. They told me it is because of lack of shipping, port, and truck drivers. Not much help just wanting to let you know you are not alone in the frustration. I am glad I have a number of UFO's and the supplies for more UFO's to keep me busy while awaiting for ordered things. We never know what companies employees have been hit with Covid or they just haven't gotten their orders in.

I just checked their FB page to see if they had any info. Not much - no posts since late July.

Here is a late June post. "June updates:
We are still seeing some issues with threads and getting inventory quickly.
Please note the best way to contact us is by email. I can answer emails in between everything else going on and from ballgames. 🙂
I do not answer the phone on weekends..especially all hours that we are receiving calls. I am a single parent, weekends are family time. We do ship on Saturdays as a bonus day, if we are around.
You will notice that your invoices will have intials in the lower right hand corner, if you have an issue, please have the invoice in front of you. Our mistake ratio is PHENOMENAL...less than 2 orders a month so far this year.
One of my older boys is training this summer with me, and he may start answering the phone a couple of days a week. He has been packing orders since 2012, so this is just the next logical step for him.
I have some exciting new things to offer pretty soon! So, stay tuned."

So looks like a one man show? I wonder if something you ordered isn't in stock, causing the delay? No excuse for not responding to you, though. Good luck!

Yes, today there is no "tact" in replies or letters sent to customers. It is what is it and we must deal with it. Hope your order gets filled and on it's way soon.
I am waiting on one for Sept or October. yea??

I have ordered from Kingsmen for years and sometimes have had to wait-occasionally quite a while-if supplies are out. From my standpoint, I have always had very good customer service. I understand that you are trying to be patient and it is frustrating to try to contact a company and not receive a timely response. Whatever the problem is I feel they are making efforts to catch up. Hopefully all will be resolved soon.

Actually, you don't have to just "deal with it". There are tons of vendors out there to buy from. If I get bad service from a vendor and they won't even respond when I try to contact them multiple ways, I cancel the order and go elsewhere. You may pay a bit more, but to me it's worth it to get better customer service.

I strongly suggest you cancel your order and contact your credit card to let them know about non delivery.
Captcha is not functioning on their site.....doesn't sound good.

After working in retail for 25 years, it sounds to me as if this company places their personal lives and sport schedules over that of their business and customer responsibilities. That is their right, but it will also be their downfall and I'd look for a more professional source because they won't be around much longer. Cancel your order and contact your credit card company, in writing, including copies of all of your correspondence to get your money back. These people don't deserve either your patience or your business.

Send an email with heading I want a refund for order #------- If that doesn't get a response then they are really in bad shape. I find Signature thread on sale at many online quilt shops that has a phone number listed. I call that number and place my order. I know the phone will be answered. If no answer on to the next shop.

Wow. Had never heard of them but just went to their site to check them out. So many things look off I too would move on to the next option and not order from them
