I once drove one and a half hours to a scheduled class only to find the class had been cancelled. they had told everyone except for me, who lived the furthest away.I had spoken to them by phone the day before but they did not mention it and then they got cranky with me because I cancelled the following classes. In other words, I know exactly how you feel and I would advise that you do as I did and shake the dust from your feet and walk to the next place. This generally teaches them to lift their game.

Frustrations aside, do we know the real reason she was late? None of us really know what happens when something does not go the way as planned. First time benefit of the doubt, but I would call in advance before I attend any more classes. Free time is valuable I like to spend mine working on projects and that doesn't happen often. So, let us know how the next class goes.
Best Wishes with your project, I know it will be beautiful.

This happened to me once and as an apology the instructor gave us a second free class. Hope yours does the same!

We all forget ... though this is the instructor!
There should be no need of a reminder from the class member required ... maybe the store's responsibility, not the student.

Sounds like she needs an assistant.

Gas Prices------Supply and Demand-----Solution---use only what you need. Ride your bike, or walk when you can.

Get your ducks in a row, plan your driving schedule, make ONE round trip..Get'r done!

Only thing is, everyone has to do it, and most people won't.

One of my friends told me that he didn't care what the cost of gas was as long as he could get it. Look what that type of thinking has done to us.
I told him that I cared. Told him he was full of gas.
We have plenty of oil, don't let them fool you. It's all about money. They have it, we don't.

The class should now be free or if you paid up front she should refund your money.

I so agree and so embarrasing. I even forget names. I will be introducing or even speaking to someone (family included) and when I get to the name, I draw a blank.
