Both are lovely! Are you planning to add a border when finished? It would be interesting to see how different borders affected the two choices for the sashings. Just be sure to post pictures when you are finished for us to see!

Back and forth, back and forth, but I think I've decided I like the maroon better, it looks warmer and richer. The light color is nice as well, it makes it look more summery.

The second one pulls it all together with autumn warmth and makes the colors pop out. It seems that the green is more 'spring' and does not pull it together as well.
