You can read the rules that are posted for selling on this site:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...g-t169124.html
The staff of this board wants quilters to be an active participant on this site. You need to have a Senior member status not on how long you have been a member here.

In my neck of the woods, older fabric is often sold for $1.00 a yard or $3 a pound depending on how you would prefer to measure.

There are approximately four yards of regular width quilting fabric in a pound.

I've seen:
power posters
super posters, and now I know there are senior members.
In what order do you gain status?

After an ad has been approved, the thread is locked - which means that nothing more can be added to it.

So the buyer has to send the seller a pm (personal/private message) and the seller has to respond via pm (personal/private message).

it takes more than just an avalanche of new posts. they have to be in the sections that relate to quilting and the should have some substance. a string of only "good job" posts after a whole lot of nothing will not be good enough.

we do not want the QB to be mistaken for a marketplace site.
we do not want to attract people who are here for the sole purpose of sticking their paws into our pockets.
they don't contribute anything meaningful to our community.

here, again, is the link to the thrift shop rules:

That's good. I'm glad it's not just a marketplace! It makes it much better. It is a little eerie, however, to see an ad flit up on my screen for something in the Czech Republic while on this site. (I'm in Poland.) Actually, I did go check it out...and then used ad block to block it.

There are other options for the OP. She can try some of the FB sites. There is one called Quilting Classified. I'm sure there must be other ones as well.

I sold fabrics on eBay for over a year. The best shipping is sending 1st class package mail but the limit is 13oz. I usually could only ship 2.25 yards using 1st class package shipping. Fabric weight per yard varies from 4.5oz to over 6oz per yard.
