I have an extensive stash that I have to move at the end of the month up north! It is alot of work to pack and sort, sort and pack...If you have gone this long without one, wait until you have one stationery place to sew!

I don't really have a stash either, since I like to plan as I go. This works best for me. You will find that your tastes change over the years-so why be stuck with stuff that is dated or that you no longer like. Even though prices on cotton are going up, if you are not collecting yards of fabric you are saving money. Do what makes you happy!

START BUILDING IMMEDIATELY, BEFORE YOU HUBBY DECIDES TO MAKE IT HIS MANCAVE LOL. You may not want a stash right now, but that won't last long. Pretty soon you'll find you've got piles and piles of fabric that somehow followed you home from the LQS. You know the ones I'm talking about, you saw them at the LQS and they wee sooooo cute you just had to get a yard or two. No immediate plans for them, but they were to pretty to leave behind.
