This turned out to be the "sew the last border on" weekend. I did that 3 times to finish 3 tops. Tomorrow night I will be sewing with my Monday evening group, so I packed some fabric to cut for that.

doggramma, did you finish the quilt in time to enter the show?
QuiltingVagabond, way to finish some projects!
Well, I did get a few things done but not quite what I planned. I finished two quilts, one which was full-size. And I finished one memory pillow. The dual action feed holder broke on my sewing machine and I'm too lazy to run out to the LQS tomorrow to get it so ordered it on amazon and it will be here Wednesday. So I guess tomorrow I will make more of the memory pillows. Probably a good thing since they need to be done by July 10 if I'm taking them back when I visit Mom. Since I couldn't watch the Yankees in my sewing room, I brought my Deb Tucker stuff into the living room with me and got that organized while watching the very long game (although not as long as yesterday's!). It's a project I've put off for awhile so was glad to get that done.
If there is interest, I will start a special holiday VQW starting this Thursday morning through Sunday night. Any takers?

I pulled fabric for my next QOV, which will be the Pat Sloane bargello pattern, "Standing Strong". I also packed up some scraps for a HST (2" finished) scrap quilt. I looked through some of my books/magazines for ideas for more 6" squares that will work in an ongoing "sampler" quilt project. Actually sewing time = zero, but the night it sitll young and it is still June 30th! Happy sewing.

I'd also like anothe VQW this holiday.
Just finished the binding on a lg lap quilt. Now 5 to put on labels and then deliver to charity + 2 already finished. Helping others and this will greatly improve my studio space.

The most important thing, yes i’m In for extra VQW. Always, always, always, LOL. I didn’t get as much sewing in as I planned this time, to many distractions from life, house cleaning, animals, and family get togethers. Not complaining, I really enjoyed.
I sewed my pink baby quilt top, sandwiched, and quilted all but 2.5 blocks. Plan to finish tomorrow. Then another UFO bites the dust. Yea.
