I made a tote bag to carry my notions in. It was a free pattern at byannie.com and it was really easy to make. It fits perfectly next to my sewing machine in my rolling sewing machine tote.

I have my regular sewing “tool” box for back up, but take anything special in one of the plastic food takeout containers. Makes it easier to use and takes less space.

I have my Tupperware Rectangular One next to my sewing machine with the basics in it. When I need to go, I just take the cover (which is under it) and put that on and I'm ready to go.

Juliasb was your tri-fold pouch purchased or did you make it with a pattern?

I use the little plastic containers from baby food for my pins. I make my own zippered bags for rotary cutter, scissors, extra blades, thread, and bobbins.

I’m sure people talk about me in low whispers .... I’m the gal with the zip lock freezer bags.

I have a little plastic box that I got at Office Depot. It holds most every thing I need in one box.

I got a great plastic tackle box with a tray and a couple small separate snap sections.
