Thats beautiful. How can anyone not like yellow. My sewing room is yellow. Its my favorite color. I take after my grandma.
Her house inside and out was yellow, everything she wore was yellow, right down to her dog and cat. Thankfully I'm not quite that bad but I do use alot of yellow.

A friend of mine has requested me to make her a yellow quilt in shades of yellows, creams, and every variation; the log cabin comes to my mind to use many shades of yellows in the blocks... so I've acquired over time, knowing this, and can't wait to get started at it, but it is down my list a ways.. family first, weddings may pop up in between, then friends. My list is now about 15 long - think I'll live long enough to get the all done? :)

You know, I'm remembering a tv show that I've seen on HGTV here in Canada, called Sara's House. Anyone watch that?

She was renovating a home in the country...and her and her design partner were at a flea market finding inspiration and bits of furniture. They came across a beautiful quilt that they bought I think for $400. It was huge, it was white with yellow appliqued flowers...kinda like daisies...the flowers were huge, I think there were 12 of them.

Anyway, the designed the one room in the house around the yellow and white quilt, it was amazing!!!! I have a picture saved somewhere because I remembered that I wanted to make that quilt LOL.

Edited: oh look!!! I found a blog with the picture in it: http://sharonathome.blogspot.com/201...ichardson.html

I thought I was th only person who love orange and yellow together. Yellow really goes with lots of colors and it does depend on the shade of yellow.

It depends on the quilt, I think. Men don't necessarily like yellow in theirs. Maybe a yellow moon in night scene. June

My sewing room is yellow too. A nice soft butter-cream yellow. I love it. Yellow is my favorite also, as long as it is not a shrieky yellow. I have seen yellows that are just unbearable.
