Good Morning Ladies. It's Monday again. Back to work. The weekends just don't last long enough. On a brighter note, I did get to spend all day long in my sewing room yesterday. Got a lot accomplished. Productive day.

You are lucky - I've got 12"-20" of snow in the forecast - We had the same thing happen last year, over a foot of snow April 14th.
My husband is currently trying to get the tractor and skidsteer unstuck. he got the truck and trailer stuck, got the trailer out with the UTV but it was not big enough to deal with the truck. So he took the skidsteer out but got that stuck. So he got out the Tractor and got the truck out, but then got the tractor stuck trying to get the skidsteer out.
Last I heard he was heading down the road to see if a neighbor (real farmers with Big tractors) could come help.
we had over 1.5" of rain over the weekend - so it was real soggy - the bad part is if he'd have just used the UTV to move the trailer to start with, nothing would have gotten stuck!.

Macybaby, that would be to easy... those boys just like to play in the mud! I'm trying to get everything organized and packed to go back to Wyo. for the summer. Got my sewing stuff that needs to go all ready, cleaned and did the yearly stuff on my sewing machines so all that is ready to go. I even remembered to pack the b-day candies Now goin through the house, we're hoping to leave sometime this next weekend, takes 3-4 days to drive it. Thank heavens this is the last year for the driving I hope, would rather fly back and forth. Hubby likes to drive, but he just rides in the car and gawks....he hates to drive

Macy, that sounds like my husband. Sometimes I wonder where his thought process goes
Jaba, oh he wants to be In the car, but not drive? No way Jose. I'd be with you, let's get on a plane! That's a Lot of driving for one person to be in charge of. Although, my husband would be happy as a clam doing all the driving. As one of the youngsters at work says "What-evs"
LOL

Same here in Michigan. Don't know about 6 - 8 inches of snow but it is predicted to snow measurable amounts Thursday! Up side is the snow won't last long. I am writing this while the spring peepers are peeping off their heads. I can hear them even with the windows closed. Any one want some frozen "spring peeps" later this week?

Jaba, you have a safe trip. I would not want to drive that far. My sister took two weeks and drove from Alaska to TN. They took a tour of the US stopping along the way to visit the sights.
Doesn't look like we will get any snow this weekend, thank goodness. It does look like I will be spending the weekend sewing as it's going to rain all weekend long. I do have things I need to get finished before the summer. I am looking for a great gift to make for my niece's and nephew for this summer. We are going on a family trip and the #1 aunt always has presents. I am open to suggestions. I have already made them blankets and neck travel pillows.
Their ages range from 8-10...…..Go!
