Ok gotta ask what the heck is an EGG CREAM/CREME? lost me. And flannel hash? is it all super mixed up? I dice my corned beef with some fresh cut russett potatos that I have mostly cooked so they are equal sizes? and some onions and tada corned beef hash. I am not sure if thats what is in it but thats what I use I cant feed him that either. sigh. It was delicious.

OK girls today JoAnns has a sale. 7c flat rate shipping kid you not. if you didnt get the coupon code in your email hit me up glad to share. Now that is shipping I can afford and no minimum purchase. They have St. pats half off and easter I think too bit late for this year but next year its twice as expensive plus shipping good deal. I am mostly about needing good deals. Found an ebayer who has alots of pretty timeless treasures fabrics 6.99 yrd plus its free shipping. thats where it comes a little more managable.. Just a shopping thought should the mood strike you.

I am getting bummed. my non talking partner from Dustysmoms swap hasnt acknowledged my swap delivered. being me, do I know where my confirmation numbers are? no I do know I spent 39.00 sending out those packages four received one missing confirmation. argh. would you write them? takes away the suprise a bit but I want to know it got there! ARGH. patience. who has that? not me.

Elisabrat, it's corned beef hash with beets added. Not sounding like my kind of thing. I have issues with textures and colors of things not being what they're supposed to be, lol. I could never drink green beer.

That coupon code is on the mobile app too. I saw it yesterday. When I was in the store last week, they had their Valentine's fabric marked down, but still not enough for me to stock up yet. I'm going back next weekend, I think, so I'll probably get some then.

I've written your partner from my swap. Sent you an email about it. In my worst southern accent, I say, "Simmer down now." HEHE!

As irish as I am, I've only had corned beef that I liked, ONCE. That was at my old job that had the best darned cafeteria ever.. *cry* *mourn* I really miss that cafeteria. like.. really... really... really a lot. I used to brag about it. I was like, don't visit me at work, visit the cafeteria. It's so awesome. I used to take pics of my food every day to make people jealous. Anyways

Clean.. what's that? I don't clean.. I did sleep for like.. 16 hours straight though from friday early evening into saturday afternoon, goodness. Then got up and finished my monkey

Here's my monkey! I'm making this for an adorable super tiny little pregnant asian girl at work that I've adopted. He still needs his face and the tip of his banana put on.. and other little design markings like ear ridges and such but he's so stinkin cute.

Don't you dare say anything about any of my mismatching seams. This is all done in flannel... darned wiggly stuff.

Ana, the monkey quilt is adorable. You find the neatest patterns. I know my swap partner's package was delivered but have not heard from her re: receipt but I think she is busy with life. I will keep that thought. Still acting like spring inthe Rockies here. Woke up to snow, now sun and then cloudy all over again. Only 6 more weeks until real spring. Sigh. Good thing I have a huge stash of scraps to play with!

OMG, how adorable! You's got to tell us where you got that pattern! I'm thinking of my 2nd cousin who has a baby on the way. Ooh, if that's a kiddie quilt size monkey, then I could make her one like that when I make the giant Sunbonnet Sue shape blankies for her sisters baby girls, who are 12 & 17 months old. Thing is, I still have to figure out how to make the giant Sue!

Ana - love the monkey pattern - I too dislike working with flannel - I have a bad case of eczema on the palms of my hands and the flannel snags - for the last swap I used flannel for the mittens - thank goodness it wasn't the whole runner. According to the post office my package was out for delivery yesterday - I haven't checked today; I will assume that Tammy received it.

Yesterday I slow roasted two large corned beef briskets for reuben chowder and and rueben sandwiches tonight; the chowder is a new recipe that my daughter wanted to try. No Irish in my heritage nor the misters - my old boss used to tell me "On St. Patty's Day we're all a little Irish" so I'll drink a beer (not green) and toast to your health.

I'm working on a home deco project that's due out this Thursday; I double checked what my partner had indicated they wanted and darned if I didn't get the wrong fabrics to start with so yesterday when I was at BOM at our local shoppe I picked up new fabric and got busy cutting and sewing last night - I don't think a quilting retreat would be for me - I don't care to sit at my machine for that long a stretch; my arse feels like it is permantely attached to my chair. Wish I could show progress but partner lerks around on the board - NO PEEKING!!!

You all have a great day celebrating life.

I will link you the pattern when I get home again. It was like $15 and it's 92 pieces for that center but. It makes 30.5x34.5 panel. He's called malcolm the monkey. It does give an applique option instead...and two sizes.
