My sis gets a cooler full of crawfish at her holiday dinner and well its a whole lot of work for little rewards. Give me a MAINE lobster and happy happy am I. hit a lobster pound boil away and heck yes. Glad you got home safe and DO NOT check out those wedding photos. not worth it. I always figure that life takes us many places some nicer than others. I have one X I havent seen or talked to in oh so many years. My sis ran into him maybe 20 yrs ago said I was doing great living the life in x town married well.. yada yada and I thought why? why rub stuff like that in? just say she is doing good. all that was needed. I have not been above however wondering what he is up to now.. never look try to find out.. I hope he is well. I am not proud to say I have been married more than once. My x's and I however are on good terms. two came at once when I was hospitalized to help me. blew me away both at one table saying we are here what can we do? so Life takes us funny places. take off those gold shoes.. know happy is ok in the ones we once loved girl. its part of life.

nite ya all. so happy I can post. earlier I got.. blue screen argh! I am excited for my swap its going to be so much easier than the last one. thanks for doing partners.. no I don't know if this is right.. lots of clues and helpful chatter. thanks!

Did the Nor Cal quilt rush and renegade run today. Lots of fun and found 3 new butterfly batiks to add to my collection. 3 bright red batiks to add to that collection too also found a few odds and ends I couldn't live without. Discovered a new quilt shop with tons, and I mean tons of fabric and great prices! Then when I got home I found that the Kaffe jelly roll I ordered had been delivered! I am feeling a little fabric drunk right now! I plan to bind my topper in the morning. I sure hope my recipient enjoys my appliqué masterpiece

i admit it, i have fallen behind, due to that's the part of me with the strongest gravitational pull! but i will catch up on monday. things are started but nothing is finished. i seem to thrive on the pressure....or not. it's been a weird week. and not all good, not all bad either, just bumpy!

Nancia find me a person who has no bumps in the road and I will tell you they are fibbing. your fine. one day at a time right? I sometimes thrive on rush of gotta get this done yet I set my goals differently. if its due June 1st and we start say March 1st... I am done by mid April. it eats at me oh no your going to be late oh on hurry hurry the clock is ticking. this internal ahhhh moment hits me often. sorry girl your just going to have to buckle up and tackle those projects. sigh..

Tlambing what is this Norcal quilt run you did? I have never heard of it but it sounds like such decadent indulgence that well thank heaven that you dont get any calories with it... new stores.. oodles of fabric? batiks? kaffee fassette? (I love those fabrics) and well I hope you slept well on your pile of new found treasures. I am envious! I have a great idea show us a pic of your new stash make everyone envious too...

Let's see - mailed, got, so am good here. Oh, just wanted to post a pix of a thing I made for another thread - it was supposed to be 'scrappy'. Well, this particular fabric was of no use to me, couldn't do what I wanted with it, so I embellished on the definition of scrappy - made these and called them good. The recipient said she liked them, let's hope she didn't fib!

tlambing, I like Brats idea of showing off what you bought. Start a new thread and I can post on it too when my little charm packs arrive. I am on the fabric moratorium thread and trying to only use stash but one foot fell off the other day. Vanogay, I am sure your partner loved the place mats, especially if she lived in the south. It is all a part of our history...good or bad. I just hope we learned from it. Waiting for company to arrive so will be off board for a couple days. Look forward to pics of what all you have received when I return.

Default argh on just hitting quick reply!

I agree with you agreeing with me! show us your stash. but first tell us what the heck that quilt run was? dying to know so share so we can all run with you in our minds! I finished up my daughters Cinco de Mayo runner lots of margarita glasses, party parrots and surf boards. I hope she loves it. its a fun young runner she entertains so many theme parties this will get much use. I have another stumped on binding I have so much fabric not one the right color. argh!!

I hope that everyone is on track and has a time frame in their minds on sending their runners. I know how easy it is for time to slip away. My good buddy here sent me a dry erase board to write my to do's on. not a bad idea. I do often resort to a yellow pad. this is due when this is due on this date this one is due and it helps me figure which one is the top priority and so on.. just saying

Off to cook dinner love to hear from everyone how their day went! mine went well lots accomplished. I love love love those days. happy times are here again ta da da da daa da da da da.. oh dear singing again..
