Quiltermomma, the superhero quilt looks SO GOOD. I can't stop looking at it. Now I wish I had sent some fabric that was a little crazier. Mine is so tame.

Libster, I am glad joanelizbay has the pattern for the fox because I just went to the library and borrowed the magazine that had the giraffe in it. I think all of them are adorable, but don't anticipate doing any more of them.

Kassaundra, love how you put your quilt together.

And, I have to admit that I did not like it all too well either. I have 2 weeks to get it quilted and bound before the baby shower.

So many posts since the last time I checked in!! Ok. Quiltermom -- gorgeous BOOM 16 quilt! and you got it done so fast!! Bibliostone -- all beautiful fabrics. I just keep staying excited.... I get to be a substitute at a local high school today. As the kids work on their assignments, I'll be flipping through some potential blocks to try out on everyone's fabric. Joanelizbay -- that is a great idea! I wonder if I can get away with it??? My stash room is overflowing right now... Can't get to my closet. It is supposed to be a spare bedroom and my son came by for a couple days and I had to quickly move everything around. The unboxed stuff is in desperate need of organizing. If I get rid of the mattress and buy more rubbermaid....

Default Detergent?

Ok folks. What detergent do you use that is fragrance free that doesn't rob your fabrics of color. I bought the Free and Clear All specifically for this BOOM 17's fabric and don't like what it does to my clothes. I don't want to use it for my quilting fabric anymore. Suggestions?

BTW, I used to be able to find Cheer that was fragrance free and it didn't stiffen clothes or rob fabric of color but I can't find it anymore. I'll have to check on Amazon but I hate to have to order stuff from out of town.

I'll look for that generation stuff at Target; thanks Billie! Maybe Target carries free and clear Cheer, too. The Arm n Hammer robs fabric of color, too. I've tried that one before. I don't mind the lavendar fragrance Cheer but I prefer scentless.
