The blue quilt is Boom 18, the March group. Turned out wonderful. Great job, Joanelizbay!

My best friend was here for the weekend and wanted to take the blue one home with her!

I have my antique quilts folded in thirds or fourths and then rolled. I take them out at least every six months, air them on a bed, swap them out with one or two on display then fold them the other way and roll them again. I only have a few really old ones so they're fairly easy to store. My newer ones I use but the vast majority of my "quilts" are still either blocks or unsandwiched tops. .

I forgot to mention this earlier but if anyone wants to do a "side swap", swapping with individuals DIRECTLY, not through me and this Boom, please go ahead and "advertise" once on this thread. I believe there are a few people who might be interested. Please understand, this will be completely between you and your swap partner and I have absolutely zero responsibility for the outcome. You can contact one another initially through Private Messages and go from there.

Joan I store mine both ways. I fold them on the bias and they are flat in a cupboard, or hung on a quilt rack or rolled on a pool noodle. For me....folding on the bias doesn't crease them as bad. You can also bias fold and roll them up as tight as you can then put them in one of those "suck" bags and get the air out. Forgot what they are really called but you can get quite a few quilts (5-6) in the large bags.
Glad my packaged arrived Janice, thanks for letting me know.

I have 4 that are really old that I have folded in my cabinet. You are definately right, they dont take up near the room as the newer ones. I changed out the rack your husband made for me today..added the orange and blue carpenter star ones and a couple of others. I sure wish I had a HUGH house with a lot of beds...ONLY for the quilts to have a home..NOT to clean or take care of! LOL
