Janice, I didn't remove from the bag. My computer is just in a different location and I would have to drive back down to figure it out. Sorry, I had a lazy moment! Guess I should have waited until I could retrieve it.

Bugaroo - I absolutely love my block. Exactly what I was looking for - colors!!
Believe it or not both of these blocks have yellow background - two different bright yellows - must
be the rainy weather and it washed it all away
QuiltingLawyer is a patterned called Nonesuch from QuiltersCache.
Terriamn - I fell in love with this block - and had to resize it. It really is the bright yellow and looks great in person!!

wind is a blowing here, awaiting the storm tomorrow. But got loads of sheets etc washed and hung out to dry the past two days so feel great about that.

TravelingGramma and Bugaroo, more beautiful blocks! Great job, ladies!

SuziSew, somebody has to finish last and sometimes it's me. No worries, it's not a race!

TravelingGramma... I love my block! It is so bright and fun! Such a fun quilt block. You are exceptional!

I've been struggling with some sever anxiety over the last week. We are not shutting down the courts here in South Dakota like many other jurisdictions are so I am still having to go to court and meet with clients. And that makes me very anxious. I have a high level of anxiety anyways so this has made it 10x worse. I'm hoping that this week brings a little more structure to what is going on and we have some answers. I just have to take heart that my family is safe in Ohio and my grandma and mom are not leaving the house for any reason.

I'm hoping that this weekend I can wash some of the fabric I pulled from my stash to get started. I surprisingly had something to go with about 10 of the fabrics. I have a pretty limited stash so I was really surprised! Just got to get it washed and then to pick out blocks.

Question.... can I make the same block for everyone? Or does it need to be all different blocks? I want to mix it up, but my creative spark doesn't always come through when I need it.

Quilting Lawyer you can make everyone blocks all the same. You will be just fine. I've received your purple crumb wall hanging from the wall hanging swap. I love it. You do have creativity and wonderful taste in color.

QuiltingLawyer, yes you may make the same block for everyone. Block choice is always yours. And as for anxiety, last year I had a pretty bad round of it due to several factors. I empathize. I hadn't appreciated until then how bad things could feel. Be kind to yourself and take heart that your family is safe.

Ladies loving all the creative blocks especially mine TG.

My recovery is going very slow, I have never been so bruised in my entire life. I was very leery going into this surgery and sure as heck second guessing my decision.. Looking at the blocks brings me so much joy. Have my one week check up tomorrow, anxious to find out if I am on the right track. Hoping by weekend I can go downstairs and at least match some fabrics up

Bugaroo- I the half dresden plate you made with the butterflies

Janicemcc- yours was the first fabric I cut into. I had to do flower to complement your wonderful daisies.
Terriamn - I added a family of bright geese to your bright fun fabric.
Sewbizgirl - Your block got some wild improv piecing which was fun to do!
Quiltinglawyer - This was the first time I ever made a square in a square. I didn't have a pattern, so I just kept adding stuff until it was the right size. ... hope tht works!
Queenbarbriej - Your big flowers called me to do something simple, so I used an ombre fabric to make a picture frame border.

...more to come!
