My package is ready to ship for tomorrow. Here are some pretties to share with you. Jaba's two blocks are ready for her to add to a quilt once she is out of the hospital. I played with the courthouse steps and came up with a very southwestern looking block from her blue fabric. School Girl's Puzzle is her second block.
Tom Turkey for Have4Boys has a small patch appliqued to his head so he doesn't look like a quail anymore. I decided to keep her fabric as the frame around the grass that Tom Turkey is trodding upon because I really like the piggy in the corner. A second block for her was done with the Hunter's Star. Since the cow was featured in so many of the other blocks we made for her, I did not fussy cut the cow.
Mobile gets a flower basket to go with her valentine's blocks.

And here are the last of my BOOM 25 contributions. Bugaroo gets a Yankee Puzzle. Another first for me. I really like this pattern. Bugaroo, I really wanted to give you a science themed block loaded with beakers and test tubes but I did not have enough variations of the colors in your fabric to make it work. Everything I tried, was boring. So you got sampler blocks from me that pulled in the yellows that your friend likes and showcased your beautiful sunflower fabric.
Libster gets a Jewel Box. I have decided that I love this pattern for large prints that shouldn't be chopped up too much.
Macybaby gets a School Girls Puzzle. The first one I've made. I really like the pattern and it comes together easily.
And Sewbizgirl gets my biggest oopsie....It started out as a Double Star but in changing around the way I was trying to get the geese done I miscalculated the size of the exterior geese. Ultimately I merged those bigger geese into the strip of geese and appliqued a couple pinwheels strategically on the block for added interest. Sewbizgirl, if the pinwheels don't work for what you have in mind, they are hand appliqued and so can be taken off easily.
I think I have posted them all now. Thank you all for a lovely BOOM experience. Thank you Janice for hosting us!

Terri, I'll bet the temp change has thrown you and hubby for a loop, right? We're 75+ degrees here today. Unreal for the middle of November!
Janice, always nap when possible. One of life's little luxuries.
It was nice to get an update on Jaba. Think I'll send another card her way soon.

Thank you, Terriamn. I had a lot of fun with trying new things this time around. My picture taking abilities are not so good with that silly phone of mine, but it works for showing you all what design you'll be getting from me. I'm happy I figured out how to attach pictures.
My blocks for you all will be in Janice's hands tomorrow according to the Post Office. I suspect they are doing deliveries properly right now after all the election fiasco with mail in ballots.
I am so excited to get started on the Christmas quilt that you all made for me! Sampler blocks always make great quilts and the blocks you all designed for me are spectacular! I'm making some blocks in other sizes - 6", 8", 15" to add them as presents under the tree on the quilt. I hope it looks as good as I'm imagining.
I can show you the Christmas tree panel I'm going to use as the center for the quilt. I didn't want to unduly influence you as you designed your blocks for me, but I can show it to you now. The panel comes with ornaments but I haven't decided if I'm going to use those yet. I'm thinking of dangling little sampler blocks on the tree instead of the accompanying ornaments. I'll decide later. For now, back to organizing my fabrics and picking new patterns in different sizes to put together for under the tree.
