Beautiful blocks, Bibliostone. I don't keep track of time making blocks, either. I'm a fast sewer but choosing just the right block from my many books and online resources might take me days! It's the slowest part of the process for me. Once I have the plan, I can make the block pretty fast. The one I made that was paper pieced took longer to construct than the traditionally pieced ones, but that may be because I was rusty and hadn't PP'd in a while.

Thinking of you H4b. Wish I could bring her back healthy and hale.
I”m so slow on these blocks. It takes me 3 or 4 hours each and that doesn’t count design and shopping time. I usually use at least 2 1/2 months to finish them. I don’t shop too much. Whenever I do I buy remnants that I think might be useful in booms.

Choosing the block and picking the fabric takes me way longer then the actual sewing of the block. Unless I am improvising then it takes me forever to line everything up
Janice perfect science block. I think some of the simpler blocks work best to showcase certain fabrics

I take a long time with finding the pattern and making a block. I have made way too many mistakes on F8 !
Here are my blocks for Marcilee and Terriamn.
MJP - love how you used her busy fabric and added the applique. I will have to remember that!
Janice - your science fabric was a great match!

edited after I finished reading the page -- all of us think the same about the "background", lol. No wonder we love working together on these booms, right?
I am so impressed with everyone's blocks. Lovely and inspirational!
