Great blocks MJP! I especially like the one you made for me, thank you!
Terri, glad you made it safely to Texas. I despise the long ride and usually it takes a day or two to recover from it. Because we attended a wedding last week we won't be going back to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. We will however return for Christmas.
Janice, hope your internet connection will be up and running real soon.

We had a beautiful paddle this morning. Lunch with our friends in Los OSAs then off to Elkhorn Slough where we will paddle with the sea otters.
It was a bit of bittersweet visit. The husband of the couple has dementia and we had to reintroduce ourselves every morning we were here. It was interesting that the time he seems to talk about was his year in Vietnam when he was drafted. I could wish his brain had fixed on happier memories. We had such good times when our kids were little but he hasn’t retained these memories.
We did a lot of singing though: Beatles, Moody Blues etc

Beautiful quilt, Janice. The sashings and binding are perfect and frame the blocks just right. Glad you have enough internet to show us! Hope you are back to full strength soon.
Yesterday we drove to Baton Rouge to see hubby's sister and brother who were hospitalized there (for different reasons). Long drive, but so glad we went. Sister is going home today, but brother had a terrible stroke, aneurysm and brain tumor removed, and so far is unresponsive. We are praying and believing for his healing, but it's only been a week.
The weather is gorgeous here. Windows and doors are wide open!

I’m up in Asheville, babysitting the girls, and it turns out they just got internet back! Woo hoo! DH is being entertained by Charlie and Chloe just woke up. I’ve been enjoying looking at your posts. Now it’s Chloe time!
