i am diligently working on blocks and will have 7 go out today. heaven only knows when you'll get them, thanks to the holidsy rush. ( why do we do that? when things are the slowest we call them a rush. english is a funny language).

By the way ladies, yes your blocks are on my list to get done alsobefore end of year. They are in a box, stacked nicely, all cut up, with return envelopes beside them, just waiting to be sewn. Now, how much coffee can drink, how much food will be prepare for me, and do I really have to work next week? Just how much of me can go around. Nice thing is we are staying home for the holidays and not going anywhere.

Have a wondeful Christmas. I will lay out my blocks and post thm son.

Received a grownup from OK Darla.

Squishies headed your way marcialee and Lovingisabella. Siggy pics.

That leaves 1 for QuilterMomma and 1 for areinn (pending receipt of an F8).

If I have you in a wrong list or no list please let me know. I am really enjoying this swap. Thank you all for swapping with me.

The blocks are slowly tickiling in and I am really enjoying all of them. Thank you BOOM swappers! I have learned so many new patterns. It is atleast half the fun. I also enjoy picking out each patter and the fabrics to go with the F8 that I received.

I've been sick for the last 11 days and that has put me behind where I wanted to be at this time. I'm off until the 2nd so hope to get all blocks done - still have not received a F8 from immemother in a side swap.

I'm sending in the mail tomorrow blocks for TheMamaHauser, missgigglewings and Roseysue.

Marcialee I made my own pattern. I just wanted them in that shape instead of oval or square. Got all of the fruit done that I had and now only have the last 5 that I received to be finished. Hopefully tomorrow and then I will post some of them. Will have some to go when I get the rest of the blocks back.

Squishy headed your way QuilterMamma. Sig pic.

And that's the last of the F8s that I have! I challenged myself to make everyone a different block and all of the blocks are first timers. Please count the imperfections to the head and hands, not the heart. I hope you all enjoy them. Hugs.

I am going to keep this short... My daughter came down with the flu last Sun., and when I took her to dr. Mon she tested positive for the flu. Thurs I wasn't feeling well, went to the dr. yesterday and I have it...hubby started feeling bad last night. so I may not be on for a week or so, until this gets better. Hopefully the Tamiflu will work good! i have received some blocks since I last posted but don't feel like updated until i am better.

If you feel like it, try the Vicks VapoRub on the bottom of your feet (plus socks, afterward) before you go to sleep. I thought it was the most ridiculous thing when I first heard of it, but it works like a charm for my son!

OJ, christmas cookies, and plenty of present-opening will help you feel better in no time!

This is the last of the blocks I've got going out, so if you didn't get one from me that means I didn't get your F8 for some odd reason.

    is it a cold?
    is it the flu?

Wow a sprint to the finish line.. it sounds like most of you are going to make it!

hey I didnt know there was a test to say you have the flu like a strep test? news to my ears tell me more.

Nancia I will hopeits a slight reaction to the shot vs a full on version of the real thing. This way it can go away much faster. I still have to lay all of mine out but will post the final pics here unless there is another place we will post our finished quilts to? anyone know or is it in our folders only? nice to see all of these put together in one spot like a photo album of the team for future players to check out.

why don't you start a thread specific to this group, quiltingKrazy? then we can each add as our quilts come together. i have some blocks on my design wall. i'm trying to decide on sashings and settings. have lots of fabric, so can go in many circles.
brat-- i'm with you!rather a cold or quick reaction, than either shingles or chicken pox. mom had said she remembered my having measles but not cp. but when my kids were little they all went thru 'the pops' and i kept other people's kids who had them, too. with all that exposure my dr was confident i had had them already.

    Merry Christmas to everyone also!

Nancia I had chicken pox at 30. 7 months prego. It was NOT a pretty site over 300 spots on my face alone and it was SUMMER .. so shots shots shots everyone. I have a nerve disorder so many of those darn shots are out of the question for me but I hope if you can get one you do get one.

I would love to add my pics to final finished boom block thread. tht would be a great idea maybe Lovingizabella does that? April? any precidence for this?

All is good nancia. I just gifted one of my daughters a quilt that I do not even have the sashing on, only the 15 blocks are done. She still loved it and was happy. Now I need to do it.
