Marghar, sorry to hear that your husband has been in hospital although it is heartening to hear that he will soon be home again. Likewise I am also looking forward to actually getting started on the centres as well as getting to know all the members of the group much better.
Blessings,

Marghar...my prayers are with your husband and you! Hope things continue to progress to the good for his health. I have been the caretaker for my DH for 14 years, during this time he has had major surgery or been in the hospital 13 times...along with that I had both my Dad, who was bed ridden the last six months of his life and my Mom to take care of...Don't get me wrong I would not change anything, HOWEVER don't forget to take care of yourself while taking care of him. You can't help him if you are not well! Take care and make your sewing machine sing!!! I am looking forward to the year even though I am SCARED!

Kay, have you learned how to post pictures yet? It is not hard, we will help you! We still haven't seen two of our groups centers yet!
I will be mailing mine on Monday or Tuesday, still working on the label. Haven't received anything from Australia,..... yet, but will let you know when it arrives. I DID get the label from Amy. I have a quesiton, is the person doing the center the first round? So I will sign on round 2, correct?

Vicki,
I shall be interested to see what reply your question generates as it doesn't read like this to me.
Went and had a look at the rules and I don't think the centre is counted in the sequence, reason being that centres (depending on individual sizes) will probably be more than 3" across. Just my thoughts.
I have been thinking that the first borders will be a little tricky for those of us that don't have a lot of experience as there isn't a lot of width to play with.
Have been waiting with baited breath to hear if my centre has arrived yet. Hopefully it will appear sometime this week.
Cheers

I know the center isn't actually a "round", but the embroidered labels are numbered 1-6, so I wasn't sure whose signature starts it, whether the first 3" border is the first "round" or the center, since it is actually the First "round" mailed. Make sense? not really, now I am very confused! Need to know before I finish mine!

Center
Round 1
Round 2
Round 3
Round 4
Round 5
or
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
The first option identifies each quilter by specific center/border. The second option simply lists the quilters in order beginning with the center creator listed as #1 because she was the first to work on the quilt top. I hope this helps.
