Sent my SP package off today and it is due to arrive at its destination on Tuesday. A couple of hints: your zip code adds up to 18, your state has the lowest population of all 50 states.

My package is going into the mail tomorrow. It is going to the 4th largest city in this state, you also have a famous singer from your town. Your zipcode adds up to 17, one of the colors that you like is one of my favorites, you do have furbabies and I am sorry I forgot them this time. Sure hope you enjoy everything in your package

Beautiful tablerunner dabbler! SP I'm working on your pkg and hope to have it in the mail on Tuesday. My FIL who lives with us, he's 88, had a stoke last weekend and I've been taking care of him and getting his medicine straight. Today he caught his microwave on fire, needless to say it's been a busy week. Along with that our GD needed an Indian costume for 2 plays she's in at school (her gifted program and her class) which she called and told me about last night and of course she needs it for Tuesday. LOL! Tomorrow is our Gsons 5th Birthday so off to a party. Our oldest daughter called and said we'll be home a week from Tues. and will you have the house all decorated for Christmas... told her of course I would. Ha, ha, but if not she could help! But what would we all do without the blessings of our families! Everyone have a wonderful evening!

I so love reading all the posts. The ups and downs of life that we share with each other is so special to me. Today has been quite an emotional one. We went to the memorial service of a beautiful 21 year old young lady that was killed by a drunk driver in Hawaii, but not before she pushed her friend out of the way. It makes one think about their own loved ones. I have a daughter that is 21. My 25 year old daughter is married to such a sweet man and they are pregnant with my very first grandchild - a girl. Tomorrow I am going to get my SP package together. I have some ideas for her. And I need some time in my sewing room. Hug those near you and tell them that you love them. Blessings to each of you.

I was wondering this too! I know there's someone in the Netherlands, but is that still the pond? I wouldn't have said so, but........ Mail from the US has slowed recently and it's been taking nearly two weeks

Lori - sorry about your cat. It made me think of all the cats I had over the years (all 12 of them, all off the streets into the house, all spoiled rotten for the remainder of their days). I'd love to get another, but I'm afraid it's live would be miserable since my 5 dogs would probably think of it as an indoor squirrel. Cats are amazing, each one different.

And by the way, that gorgeous tote is coming to me -- right? And the tablerunner, too. I don't do much decorating, but that I would definitely use. Nice work, ladies.

Iam back to say HI.Iam out of the hospital and Iam ok. Brain stem isnt sending out signals to breath so Iam on two new stimulants and 02.They wanted to take my license, but signed a paper saying I wouldnt drive without a person in my car ,not just the girls but my Husband. Sigh.Iam supposed to slow down and take it easy .Yea right.I pray for all those through Sandy we just lost power.I am soo sad to see the rest of the devastation in the other states.Them who lost loved ones , homes and more I do pray. The poor women whom rescued her two sons 2 and 4 out of the truck when it was overcomed in high waters she made it to a door but the man behind it supposingly wouldnt let her in ,the two boys were washed out of her arms.~wipes tears~ .I look at things like this and I consider myself sooo lucky to just be alive.I missed being on the bord and wish I was able to make this SP since I love Love Love them. But Iam back and hope to make next one......~skips around ~ I missed you all so glad to be eating my food not the yucky hospital food lol.I was soo cold therelol hint hint.............god Bless you all...Jess.

Jess, I hope the meds work and are up and all well soon. I know how much you enjoy being home again...nothing a lot of fun about being in the hospital.

Jess, hope you are feeling better, there's nothing like being home, even if you're not in tip-top shape.

Today, my entire effort was to pack up some books for my SIL, print a label and mail, AND what else, but to print out a label and mail you, my dear SP a package too. I hear a rumor we're going out for Pizza tonite, tho, so I guess that counts as doing something....

I was right.....LuvstoQuilt had me....and I am one lucky lady...she made me such a special package. I can feel the love that she package into it. She sent 4 lovely Fat quarters, a cute Thanksgiving crow, some Thanksgiving napkins, quilt magazine, a wonderful quilt book. I see projects in my future, yummy jelly beans, a cute frog measuring tap, cookie cutters. Thank you so much Sharon, your package made my day. I especially love her sweet note.Name: PICT0001.JPG

I am not in the swap this month. I know you won't mind if I tag along so I can see the wonderful packages you get. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone suffering losses in the NE.

Mailed out package to my sp today. Zip adds up to 19. Didn't think I would get it out, been so busy. My 67 yr old brother broke his leg and has been in and out of the hospital for surgery and then it got infected and then his BP was down. Brought him back home today. His 2 kids live too far to come help so my daughter is staying with him to help out. Hope everyone is OK who was affected by the storm here in the north east. My 2 sons just came home from storm duty clearing trees that fell for the power companies. They were out for 11 days straight doing 16 hour shifts each day and are exhausted. They know there is still more to be done and are hoping to be sent out again to help.

Might do a little crocheting while watching tv this evening.
