My box is all taped shut and sitting on the mailbox in preparation for a long trip south.

Now, true to form, I forgot to put any identifying information in the box, so I will include the following hints for my SP so that she'll know it was me!

- I believe that every woman should have a multiple-head screwdriver on her person at all times.
- Beads are beautiful to look at but a giant PITA to work with the day after you get brand new acrylic finger nails.
- You never know when a fairy will pop into your life and pick all the petals off your flowers.

I think, once she has opened the box, these hints will be sufficient for her to know it was me that sent the box.

I suppose I meant in the purse. But that reminds me of when I was active duty and the rules of the coin check. Someone could slap their unit coin down on the table, and everyone else had to do the same or risk owing beer. But the tricky part was that the coin needed to be no more than 2 steps away from your body or you'd be considered to be without a coin. There were other rules but the "on your person" rule was the biggie.

I kind of feel the same way about screwdrivers and tweezers (very important when you need one and don't have it!) but I did not pack up a set of tweezers for my SP. I figure that ones' choice of tweezers is a personal thing.

Kelly, I was in the service and I thought you were going to bounce that coin on your bunk to make sure it was made right! My kids used to have inspection on Sat Mornings and they thought I was crazy to make them have a bed made right!

I love your Cowl Sharon Anne.

Hope everyone is feeling better and looking forward to a great week! Tomorrow is no Mail! Darn, my SP box will be going out on Tuesday, it is going to a State that is East of me!

Anastasia, you make me laugh... I felt the same way when I saw it completed. It IS much softer than chainmail, though, honest. Are you a "steampunk" type person?

Oooof! Miss a couple of days and so many posts to catch up on!

Love the sneak peeks! The cowl is gorgeous and looks so toasty!
Ms Fear what a terrific little quilt -- I think you need to join the doll quilt swap immediately!

The fair was fun. Soooo much work and it knocked me out for a day afterwards ... note to self ... do not wear flip flops when you're going to be on your feet all day. As for sales ... don't ask I guess we would have done better if we sold cheap junk from China ...
