Yay! Thanks for the update, aborning.

Everyone must be using that extra extra week and working right up to the end...

Ugh. I am so bad! I went to work today and forgot to take my blocks along to take to the Post Office today. So now they won't go out in the mail until Monday. I sure hope they get there by the 17th! (I am not able to mail them tomorrow because there are no Post Offices open around here, on Saturdays).

It's a good thing we traveled on Wednesday.. Michael created a lot of havoc around here.. Had some cleaning up around the house so the trucks could pick up the mess..They pass by once and that's it.
DH and I bounce back & forth all year..We like to stay 6 to 8 weeks at a time.. We'll be going home to NJ a week before Thanksgiving...
I have 90 blocks trimmed and bagged.. I thought I had more but some extra blocks from the last swap got mixed up with the current blocks.. I will never again wait to trim them all up at once..My back and neck are killing me...
I will try to get the last 10 done in the morning then to Ace Hardware to get them in the mail.
I will PM you my NC address so you can to send them to me here. (please?) I think I'm going to try the strip sets next time.. Doing them individually takes so much time and they get wonkier as I go along.

I also need to mention that some of the blocks are not perfect but I think they pass muster with the 6.5 inches..If any of you need replacements just PM me and I will gladly send you perfect ones.. If my PM gets full then I'm going to quit sewing.

Thanks for letting me know.

Did you know you can go to usps.com Click n Ship and print your label there? Then you can just put it in your mailbox today, for the carrier to pick up. It will for sure get here by Wednesday if you do that.

I quit going to the post office and standing in line long ago. I print all my package labels at Click n Ship and mail conveniently from home. I love it.

LOL, Honchey! Please don't quit sewing. It's cheaper than therapy.
