Your quilt is just GORGEOUS! I love it and can't wait to see it finished.

One of the LQS here had 30% off sale today for the Fourth of the July, so I went to buy fabrics for other projects, but had my AOTH blocks with me to show my friend there, and Lo and behold I found the perfect golden metallic fabric for the sashings, I am so excited.

I am going to try to work on some blocks tomorrow, but we are leaving for vacation next week and I have lots of things to do before then, I must admit, I miss working on this quilt( well quilting in general I suppose), I haven't done a thing all week. But I am sure it'll all be waiting for me when I get back :XD:

I have some fabric for my binding...need to go back to a certain site...have to backtrack and figure...I saw something that I would like for my sashing.
Dh is fixing to get very busy and I can't wait! I'm going to get busy too! :XD:

I've been lurking on this thread since what [i]seems[/] forever, yet it's not been so very long at all .... I must say, I continue to be amazed and astonished with how these quilts are coming along ..... Your comments/chatterings seem much more confident and much less stressful as you progress .... You seem to be having a wonderful time ... What a group!

Although these are all from the same basic pattern, your color selections and special individualized "tweaking" of each block makes each quilt unique and special - true treasures-in-the-making ....

I will be both glad and sad to see each completed ...... I don't want this thread to ever end ....

I can only imagine the sense of accomplishment you each enjoy at each new phase of construction ..... You (each and every one of "you") are quite an inspiration.

I am glad to see that others have joined the AOTH Club in mid-stream -- So maybe this thread will never end and we can enjoy this eye-candy forever (?)
