When I can't get to my sewing machine or find my scissors anymore, I tidy things up a bit. I have to clean it all before the holidays anyway because it's in my dining room; no reason to do a thorough clean until then.

I just got done making a tote and a purse and my sewing area is a mess!! Bits and pieces all over, fabric glue, riveting tools, buttons and rivets. A disaster.

I can only handle so much and then I do not function well so I keep some sense of organized. I especially have a hard time if it is very busy looking. Maybe a curtain in front of open shelves or something.

Homey I'd call it. Looks like someplace that I'd feel at home in.

Makes me nervous when i go somewhere and see the hostess picking up thread dropped on the floor even with the sewing machine still running because having a messy work room is unlady like, or....

    your just kidding us Right?
How can anyone sew without making a mess?
    Am I missing something?
My sewing agenda is mess up, straighten up a bit, mess up straighten up a bit more, on and on its goes until one day I finally break down and clean the whole place top to bottom just so I can start the process all over.
See it's just the way it is! No worries just lots of fun!

I would love to see your crochet and knit stuff. I can crochet but not knit. I envy anyone who can. Please show us your stuff.
