I am echoing everyone else's opinions and saying what a wonderful way to make a crumb quilt unique. I think I too will try this as I create my crumb squares from my leaders and enders as I sew other projects. Plus I will also get in some PP practice. I so appreciate your sharing your wonderful creation and inspiring the rest of us.

To me, a crumb block is like a crazy quilt block, but without the emblishments. For some reasons, all the old names are being changed. But I think this is a wonderful, descriptive name for all the "crumbs" left over from sewing....
I agree Lynn! We used to call them crazy patch blocks but they were maybe a bit larger and we embellished them? It was on this board that I found out their new name and I kinda like it!

Thanks everyone for your compliments!

That's exactly right! Just one or two here and there in between all your other projects! They are completely relaxing to me...no rhyme or reason, just pretty colors and small...sometimes a block contains only 3 or 4 fabrics, and other times more than 20!

I think what makes this one so neat is that the pieces are so tiny. If your original blocks are only 3.5" then you have some very small pieces there... Thus, it rightly deserves the title "crumb" quilt.

And I like the PP trees you've thrown in. It makes your quilt specially interesting.
