    As I read your comments, I could almost hear your great grandmother saying 'they didn't love it enough to do the work to bring it back to original condition, so they don't deserve it!'. Keep that quilt and enjoy it - I'm quite sure your great grandmother is very pleased that you worked so carefully to preserve her work and brought it back to such wonderful condition.
