Happy Birthday, Mr. Meanmom. Hope you enjoy your present.

RhondaLee, hope your mom recovers fast. Have you ever tried redwork? That is an easy take-along.

RhondaLee, another suggestion would be a GrabNGo wool kit. Everything is included and pieces are die cut. I'm sure whatever you choose, when the project is finished it will remind you of the time spent with your Mom. I know it did on a couple projects I worked on when my Mom and Dad were in the hospital. Hope her hospital stay is short.

I found I was doing the same thing I have gotten better about this as well. Though I did get the double sided havel cutting mat to try. Just too good of a price to pass up.

Keep up the good work of using your stash everyone! Thanks for your suggestions for hand work. I found some hexies to work on. I'd just put them away...they have become a UFO! You all jogged my memory. Thank you. I'll be spending most of my day with Mom today so hexies will be traveling with me and put to good use. She is getting better. Thank you for your concern and kind words.

Yeah. Used more fabric from stash today... Hubby needed replacement steering wheel cover. I think he needed one.

I made a tutorial here on the boards in Nov 2014, I just check it is still there..listed as Designer Steering Wheel Cover in the Tutorial section.. They are fun to make and everyone loves them.
