You are all awesome! That's all there is to it. Thanks for being such great inspirations for those of us who are struggling.

Well we went on our own shop hop yesterday. We went to 5 LQS. I think I did ok. I bought 3 FQ that are really unique. Also 1 1/2 yards of clearance fabric that will be perfect for the back of a baby quilt. At the last shop I bought 2 charm packs and 3 FQ that were on clearance for $1. Now I need to stay our of shops again for quite a while.

Love the bear, so cute.
Meanmom have fun on your shop hop.
I'm suppose to go on a shop hop in 8 days. There is only one store I really care to buy from. It will probably be a small kit and I will take lots of pics. It's the quilt shop in Overbrook, KS. A small little farm town with a large supple of fabric. Now my favorite quilt shop. I get there about 2x's a year. Then I will be looking for fat-quarters to enlarge a UFO.
Good job everyone for keeping to your stash 1st and completing your lovely projects. Take care and enjoy sewing and quilting.

I have an answer for the second Mt Fuji Panel. If I do the quilt as if there is a pond reflecting the Mountain I can use both panels. Kool huh? And it answer how I will deal with the bay window. With that window quilt in the center and then multiple asian panels stacked on each side. I probably didn't explain that well but I've got the idea. Now I just have to finish the 3 I'm currently working on lol.

I think you all show remarkable restraint. My LQS had their open house last night and I decided not to go. It is where they introduce all the new classes and I decided to not put myself at risk. I would have gone hungry and that is bad, no matter what store I enter.

Way to go Martina. I also resisted the urge while at my LQS on Wednesday. Our guild is HQ a quilt for a fundraiser in the upstairs portion of the LQS. Some of us got together to quilt...I looked before I left, but lucky for me it was just past closing time......

Everyone is doing so well and keeping purchases small or to a minimum. Each day that I get a few minutes to sew, I think I am grateful to have what I have for stash and think it will keep me busy for at least a year if not longer, especially since I haven't been able to sew more than an hour at a time.My selvedges alone will make about 3 quilts, I think! (Lap size ones, anyhow!)

Tkhooper - Love that idea of reflection. Hope you show us when you're done.
happylab - shop hop sounds fun.
Everybody is doing so great at resisting temptations! I didn't go back to the going out of business sale. Though I thought about it several times . I just really have so much (or I wouldn't be here). Chances are I would see something I felt I couldn't live without even though the selection was drastically reduced by then. I figured why chance it.

So proud of you elly66. I think I'm going to buy a Craftsy pattern. Will see if I can stash shop for the fabric.
Patterns are ok, right? If done and not "stashed" in a cabinet, they will use up some of the fabric stash.
