Was making great progress today on finishing up two UFOs. One is done; just a little Christmas wall hanging; will post a pic when light is better tomorrow. Then was working on JN’s Summer Solstice. Thought it was all ready except for the borders, but when I pulled it out the center star was not joined at all, just rows of diamonds. Put those together. Started paper piecing the border pieces, then DH came home from golf and suggested we should eat at halftime of the Vikes game. Stopped sewing, made dinner, ate. By the time I was done, the Saints were taking the lead. DH suggested I go back to sewing. So I did, and it seemd to work. So I kept sewing, until finally looked up and saw Diggs catch the pass and score. So my current plan is to finish this top, layer and quilt it. Attach the binding. If time permits, layer and quilt my BH mystery. Leave finishing the bindings for next Sunday. That way, I will sew through the entire game. Hey, if you are a Vikings fan no superstition is too foolish.

Krista, I am sooooo in envy of that!!! Love purple and would love to have room for a long arm! What is the quilting design?

Here is my first UFO finish for the year!

Need to reset the camera date and time. It's in the wash right now and should deliver it tomorrow if Kirsty is up for visitors.
Now what next????? Maybe the table runner that needs the quilting finished and some coasters.

Yeah, Dedemac...that purple binding echoes the purple so well!

Will be great to see that Labyrinth quilt finished, too.

Thanks for the positive feedback - what a nice group!

Dedemac, your quilt is such a cheerful sight on this cold January night!

Krista, the Labyrinth quilt will be amazing! You're on the home stretch.

Judy, I love the traditional look of your stars and monkey wrenches, too.

We have a great start to the year.

Teen, you're trapunto appliques look perfect, and your sock monkey needs a way to give you a hug.

Dedemac: great finish. Looks great.
Krista: Love the Labyrinth quilt. The purple is amazing and so is your long arm. Very cool.

I’ve been working on the BH Mystery. I’m thinking that would be called a WIP, not a UFO, but inbetween, I’m working on my unfinished stuff. Hope to post a picture soon.

Krista...OMG...that labyrinth is stunning....can't wait to see it all laid out...

Dedemac....congrats on your finish, girl!! Beautiful work...it reminds me of my hippie days...lol!

i have finished my quilt.... Woohoo! Finished hand sewing on binding tonight (I was determined..). Picture just shows binding on the front but it's too late to take a picture but, believe me, this baby is done!!! I may add some embroidery swirls to appliqué but I'm gonna think about it for a few days. My quilter is over the flu so I deliver my patriotic panel quilt to her tomorrow. I have the fabrics pulled and pattern selected for a patriotic quilt I need to do for Vietnam vet reunion for their raffle. But, tomorrow, I'm gonna get Rocky (his new name) the sock monkey done.

This quilt was the BOM on the Board. All the fabric and batting were from my stash.
