I'm in beautiful Idaho now...my future home. Gorgeous weather. Been working out at the home site during the day...and making my applique pieces for SBS in the evening... Here's a pic of the Snake River...we crossed that river a bunch and followed that all they to our new home........and my appliqué work, so far...

I have no recent finishes, but a retreat this past weekend let me make good progress on a project. I participated in the 150 Canadian Women quilt (from July 2016 to July 2017). Got a bit behind, but finished my blocks at a retreat in February. So this month, I took the blocks with me to a retreat and put them together. I decided to make 2 quilts, which hopefully will find good homes. Still have to figure out backings, but some progress on this UFO is good news.

You got a lot accomplished with these two and the star quilts...Red and white quilt is on my bucket list. I have lots of red fabrics, but not sure what pattern/s to use. Thanks for sharing, K...

Oh my goodness Teen, you are moving to Idaho, you will be right next door to me in Washington. We will have to have some retreats of our own.
You applique is coming along for that beautiful quilt. Good job.
Krista, makes you wonder how we get so much done at a retreat versus home. Think it may have something to do with life.
Myself, still on that paperwork. Getting close though and it has to be done by Monday. Someone want to write my biography and credentials for me please?

Well, I would be willing to help with the credentials and biography but eastern Washington is a bit of a distance to travel and I am still grading my student's work for the semester. I am currently taking a break from online final exams. My brain needed some rest. I am dreaming of quilting. One more week and I will be free! OK Free for a few days then back to summer classes. Hang in and it will all get done and you too shall shout from the mountain top how wonderful it is to be ..... quilting!
