Looks wonderful, Conchalea.

Thank you all for the good wishes. Just have to get the EKG thing straightened out tomorrow and I'm ready.

Look what I found.....it had a note from my LQS that said..."Good Luck and we'll miss you!" They were so sneaky. I just unpacked the bag of gifts from the LQS to pack away and this was in it. She must of snuck it in when she bagged my stuff. So generous and thoughtful..I'm going to pair this up with stash and do a floral applique quilt pattern I've wanted to do. So excited...

What a nice gesture for your LQS. And I love the prints and colors in it.

Hello. My name is Petthefabric. And I'm a fabriholic.

Yesterday I went to Joann's for 1/4 yd to extend the legs of pajamas that have shrunk. While there/waiting, I perused the store and of course, found something. So $40 later I have another project I wanted for new jammies. That makes 2 fabrics for jammies.....when will I get to them? Who knows? So this added unnecessarily to my stash. Don't give me excusses!!!!!!! I joined this thread to decrease stash, not increase it.

I'm truely ready to have accountability to diminish my stash. Therefore I'm ready for this thread.

Within 1 wk, I need a helping hand back onto the wagon a second time. I really need to get some control.

Pet, here’s a hand back up on the wagon! I won’t give you excuses, but encouragement to finish those new jammies along with the original set.

Petthefabric, I too have been struggling. I bought myself some $50 gc to my fav. Online stores that were supposed to be my allowance for the next 3 months. I’ve spent 2 of the 3 already. I really think I’m going to have to stop looking on those sites and limit my lqs visits to be successful.

On a more positive note, my husband completed my shelves in the sewing room so I’m moving my stash in...it’s really helpful to be able to quickly see what I have, it will make it much easier to shop my stash.

Thank you for the compliments on my (mostly) stash quilt, everyone. I’d had this pattern on my bucket list for a while & decided to make it first for 2019 since I had already bought the pattern.

Hi ya, I did buy several pieces of Lego fabric. Enough for an all Lego back and a few for the front. Found a super simple pattern on Pinterest. I want to showcase the fabric with big blocks. So it will be easy to get done. And I decided to forget about the 1/2 yard bundle. I don't need more.
I've had trouble sewing since DSD bluntly announced that they were not going to give her anymore chemo or radiation and that she was dying. It put me into a state of shock. She did pass on, 3 months later. It's been a year and a half. I've started feeling like I'm coming out of the shock state but need a push ( !!!! ) to get back into my sewing room.
