Like many in this group, I seem to have a never ending supply of UFOs. But, for the month of December I am taking a break to make and create gifts and finish quilts that have not fallen into the UFO category. I will be back on the UFO wagon in January with my one a month goal. So far, for me, that seems to work and is slowly reducing the pile, but I do keep finding new ones hidden in odd places. I don't remember how many UFOs I have finished this year but enough to be noticeable and that is good enough for me. Tee-Hee-Hee. See every one in January..

Two more….
I just received this table runner back from my LAQ today, I used the heat resistant batting so hot dishes can be safer on it. It is a housewarming gift for my friend who just bought her first house 2 months ago. She is hosting a Christmas party on the 21st so I’ll get the binding done this week and get it wrapped up in time. The backing fabric she picked out in 2017 from Portugal so she will be very surprised that it is done :-). I also dropped off to my LAQ the ufo block of the month from the quilt show for 2020, Color my World. I finally got the top finished. I’ll post next year when it is quilted. I’m hoping to have 2 more tops done today, and I’m hoping to finishing up cutting appliqués for a vine appliqué border for a Texas star that is 20 + years old. That will be to my LAQ within the month. Progress is good! Hugs all and thanks for being so encouraging and inspiring!

Good afternoon UFO’ers
I have silently cheered everyone on, I’m not the best at posting but I do read the thread every day. I did manage to finish 2 projects this month. But I did end up creating 3 more in the process, but who is counting? The first finish is I finally got the binding on a quilt called Braided Star by Brenda Plaster. This was a test quilt, she does a awesome job at quilting and designing, two pictures bellow. Second finish is something I have been thinking about for a few years and had the orphan blocks and wanting to do something with them. We have a room off of the kitchen which is attached to the garage. The room is what we call the parlor, but at the moment it is more of a storage room. During the winter it is very cold since it has only one heat vent and has basically 3 unheated walls. I have been hanging a flimsy during the coldest part of the year here in MN but I wanted something more permanent. Well during the Thanksgiving VQW I finished the wall hanging it is the third picture. With luck this VQW I will be able to work on the other 3 UFO’s I just created. After three attempts to post a photo in the post I will try to post pictures in a separate post
