Allietare! - Bonnie Hunter's 2015 Mystery Quilt
#1542
Very pretty Miss Rita. My top has been ready to quilt just waiting for quilt on the frame to get quilted. Instead of the black border I used one of my reds (it goes better in my bedroom) and made it smaller because it wouldn't fit on my quilting frame. Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your group. I look so forward to see each and everyone's posting!

This morning I took some time and started sewing my rows together. I have the first half joined. I'd like to get this done and ready for quilting this weekend.
I've still got some "putting away" to do before I can use the long arm again, but it's getting there!

I love the blue Kassaundra. I hope you'll pot your progress with the QAYG. I'm not sure how that works so I'll be eager to see how you do it.
I finished my top today! I'm glad to finally get here. I had some serious border removal and replacement issues. While adding the black, I found a tiny tear in my gold inner border. I had to remove an entire segment of the gold border and then cut a replacement to match! Can you see it? It's right at the very edge at the seam line. I do not know what happened there.

Kassaundra, that's looking so good!
Mrs. SewNSew, I hope we will see a photo soon!
I have liked all the borders I've seen -- black, red, gray, gold and multi-prints. I don't know which I will choose when the time comes.
