I made my squares 1/2 inch bigger (2 seam allowances) and cut them diagonally then attatched them to the ends for no waste.

High FIVE!! To itty bitty quilters! I used spare HST on a quilt for my sweet MIL. They were all scraps from quilts I made with her stash for her grandchildren. I used 1" stamps to make a mini swoon last spring. I'm actually thinking I'll use these for my back label.

I'm sorry you had to learn this lesson when your intent was honorable.
The rules of every group are posted at the top and the one single reason for bans against this type of things is "what if all 33,000 members did the same thing".

Same with holiday greetings, gd bless whatever, and weather updates, they just don't have a place in big international groups.

Bonnie's list is public so you can still read it. I just have it bookmarked and do a speedy scroll every couple of days.
And Bonnie and I are personal friends, it isn't anything against her that I unsubscribed last summer, it is just to keep me from adding fuel to the fires

(((hugs))))

SheriR, this is an AWESOME quilt! I admit I'm the person that throws away the tiny triangles! :P I just have to stop the hoarding somewhere!

Ditto. I am afraid of what I would have stashed everywhere if I didn't draw a line somwhere. My line is 1.5". High 5 to all of you that can tolerate smaller than that.

SheriR that's a wonderful quilt! It's incredible and I am beginning to regret all the tiny triangles I threw away. The pink and brown is beautiful too.

Are any of you working on other quilts between clues?? I did those 2 simple ones for Ro's homeless Veterans charity and mailed them on Monday. clue #2 was done, so needed something else to do until Friday. for several months I have had the fabrics to make another floral Irish chain, so started on it today!!

Ps: Shari love your HST postage stamp quilt-----you have WAY more patience than me!!!

I was roped into doing Orca Bay in between (I'll never reveal who's fault that is!). I'm on step 1.
