Our closest Lowe's had them. We have three Lowe's in our area.

These are very rich looking colors, Belfrybat. They will make a stunning quilt.

I am still undecided... Been to the quilt store and petted the fabric. Looked in my stash and petted the fabric. Nothing has really caught my eye. Maybe this isn't my year.

I like the black background/neutral idea. When I pulled fabrics, they were all mid to mid/light values. It would be very colorful but sorta boring value wise. The saying ‘color gets the credit, but value does the work’ stumped me. I think with a lot of value chug in one color, the pattern of that color will be lost.

After several fits and starts, I finally got to a quilt shop and added 10 fat quarters to my fabric pull. I still need to wash and press the recent acquisitions, but otherwise I am ready for the first clue. Just a little over a week to wait.

I had no luck at Lowes either. Their paint chips were not the same. Oh well... I think I can choose fabric without them

SuzSLO, that is a beautiful assortment of fabrics!

petthefabric, I didn't understand what you meant by: "I think with a lot of value chug in one color, the pattern of that color will be lost."

Hi Everyone! I have not checked into the Board for some time. It seems my Notifications are not working!

This will be my 13th Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt! I have completed seven of her mysteries, and have four in the flimsy stage. Last years Rhododendrum Trail I am quilting on my domestic sewing machine. I am working on quilting the borders. I thought I would have it finished by the time we started this one, but don't think so!!!

All of my other 11 quilts are full size, but I do not need any more big quilts, so I am only doing 1/2 this year. Attached fine the colors I have chosen. Note - I am only using one aqua color.
