Thanks y'all! I started with the border focus fabric and went by the little color dots in the selvage. Bright and happy. I wanted to just finish the flimsy, then pack it up for the carpet. But I couldn't stop. It had to be done.

Hi all, joe'smom and WMUTeach - I sent my samplers out to a Long arm quilter and she did straight line stitching in the ditch on the blocks and sashing.
Toverly - your quilt is fabulous and the colours are great.
Love your blocks Beth - looking good !
Hope you are all keeping safe and well - I am still waiting to hear about my heart procedure- beginning to wonder when it will be ! Things are hopefully getting slowly better here in the UK - but Covid numbers still high and lots of problems with HGV drivers, some food and petrol deliveries ! When will all this ever end ? !

Great Blocks BethA, I didn't even attempt those applique leaves. Looks great!
Hang in there DottyD and keep safe! I had hoped things were back to normal but, at my father in law's 86 birthday on Saturday. We were all exposed to Covid. He had tested negative for two tests. So we gathered. Sunday he tested positive. We are all vaccinated. He feels miserable, but had the antibody treatment today, they said he should feel better in 24 hours. But at 86, he is acting like he has given up. So, don't let your guard down.

BethA, your blocks look great. You even got the oak leaves done!
toverly, so sorry about your family situation! Thankfully we have some treatments available now.
Dotty, I hope you hear about the procedure soon! We also have supply chain problems looming in this country. Thank goodness for sewing, to keep the mind and hands occupied.

Beth, your blocks look super! I'm impressed you did the oak leaves. I have avoided all of the appliqued blocks this time. The designs are great for 12" blocks, but my hands don't do those fiddly little pieces any more.
Dotty, hope your health issues are figured out soon. It must be hard to be living on the edge.
I have finished my blocks for this month but it's so gloomy out that I can't get a good photo. Hope the sun comes out today so I can. I have gone through the book and decided which blocks I want to make to finish. That will be my goal for the rest of the month.

I'm so inspired by seeing toverly's finished quilt that I think I will begin working ahead on additional blocks during my extra time each month. (This would mean letting my two other BOMs lapse for a time, but they are not as interesting to me as Harriet.)
